Story
At Bristol's biggest charity bike ride, we will be tackling the Tour de Bristol and pedalling for patient care.
On Saturday 13 April, up to 1000 cyclists will be coming together to cover some epic scenery and challenging hills, leaving Bristol to pedal through the Gloucestershire countryside to reach the Cotswolds. And with every kilometer we take on, we will be raising vital funds to support St Peter's Hospice.
At the same time, there will be cyclists pedalling the kilometres in their local areas and from static bikes in the garden, so everyone across the UK can take part in this fundraiser.
Any support you can give and any amount you can donate to the team for taking on this challenge will be so incredibly appreciated.
How your support will help
St Peter's Hospice provide care, advice, support and therapy to patients and their families during the most difficult and challenging of times. All their care is provided free of charge, so they rely on the generosity of supporters and fundraisers to make their work possible.
St Peter's Hospice were a god-send as dads health was failing. We felt fully supported so we could get the support we needed to keep dad at home in line with his wishes. St Peter's Hospice were the central pin in holding everything together and we knew they would do what they said they would - they were reliable and dependable, as well as supportive and caring - always had time to listen."
The Tour de Bristol aims to raise £100,000 for St Peter's Hospice, funding almost 3,000 hours of care from the Hospice at Home team for patients in their own homes, so they can be where they are most comfortable at the end of their lives.
Thank you to all of our fundraisers and good luck for the ride!
