Every family deserves a happy Christmas, but for some it's a particularly challenging time. Whether struggling to cope with relationships, health or financial challenges, it can feel like there is little to celebrate. With over 4 million children growing up in poverty, one in four adults experiencing a mental health issue each year and seven million children and adults providing care for a loved one - pressure on family life can mean Christmas is miserable, rather than magical. As we're now on the road to recovery from COVID-19 it's a chance for children and families to bond and experience some Christmas magic.

We believe that all children and their families should have the chance to have a happier Christmas together. That's why we need your help to give them the support they need to manage the pressures of family life.

Our Toy Appeal was set up to ensure no child we work with goes without a gift at Christmas, and to help families enjoy this special time of year regardless of the pressures they face day to day.
