🎄 Help CARE provide Christmas gifts for children across North East Lincolnshire. 🎄

Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for families who are already struggling financially. For some parents and carers, finding the money for Christmas presents simply isn't possible.

Each year, CARE's Toys for Joy appeal brings together local businesses, organisations and individuals to help families provide gifts for their children.

Last year, Toys for Joy supported 993 children across our local community.

Our fundraising for 2026

We are aiming to have £7,000 available for this year's Toys for Joy appeal.

Thanks to funds carried forward from last year's appeal, together with money raised by Liam, we already have £3,350.09 available towards this year's costs.

This means we are looking to raise a further £3,649.91 to help us purchase toys and gifts for local children this Christmas.

Every donation will help us build on the support already received and make the most of the funds available.

How Toys for Joy works

CARE works with local schools, support services and other agencies to identify families who would benefit from additional help at Christmas.

Parents and carers are invited to choose new, age-appropriate toys and gifts for their children, giving them the opportunity to select something they know their children will enjoy.

How your donation helps

This year, we're working towards a fundraising target of £7,000 to help us purchase new toys and gifts.

Alongside the generous donations of toys we receive, financial contributions allow us to buy gifts for age groups where we have fewer donations and help ensure a suitable range is available for families.

Whether you can give £5, £10, £25 or another amount, your contribution will help us purchase gifts for local children.

You can also support Toys for Joy by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts, organising a workplace collection or sharing our appeal.

Our final donation drop-off date is Monday 7 December 2026.
