World Refugee Day June 20th 2022, is also our Founder's birthday and what better day to launch an appeal! With the COVID restrictions lifted we are excited to resume travel to the region for face to face magic shows and workshops. We have done our first trip (to Turkey) for Syrian refugee children and their Turkish host communities and are convinced of the greater need than ever post pandemic. See the face of this Syrian girl in an Istanbul workshop learning magic last month or this show we just conducted near the border with Syria. We plan follow up visits, also to Jordan, online to Lebanon (no visa) as well as continuing in the UK. We hope to raise at least £5000 to cover at least one 3 week trip and we will stretch what we raise to two trips or more.
