Tree Planting by Hill Tribes in Vietnam

The tree planting programme will give us another way to provide income for developing communities, as well as helping us and our planet - to everyones advantage!

Our operating base is in the village of Dai Kat which grows flowers to support the nearby markets in Hanoi. We are working with the local school with the aim of school children helping plant and maintain trees (mainly fruit trees for food security). In exchange the programme will fund scholarships for poorer children to attend school.
Additionally, we are working with HEDO, the Highland Economic Development Organisation, with which we have strong ties. There are some 27 ethnic communities (hill tribes) and we will be working with the Tay and Muong tribes initially. We will fund a mix of fruit and jungle trees with income going directly into the communities
