Our target of £5000 is to, by the mercy of Allah, set up this 250 Date Trees Farm, in sha Allah. Whats included in this cost? Just seedlings for plantation? Nope! This amount will include in sha Allah:

1) 250 young date tree seedlings, 2) labour and transportation costs, 3) fencing around the farm 4) a solar borehole system for water irrigation

Where is the land for this project? Maiha Gari, Mbilla District in Adamawa state in Nigeria. The one-hectare piece of land was donated by the local district government for the purpose of this important plantation.

During the 3 years of the trees growing, they will be a source of shade, benefitting birds, freshening up the air and much more in sha Allah! Maintenance costs are not included in this target. SRF will use donations from our Trees/Where Most Needed funds to cover the cost of maintaining the farm for a period of 3 years while the trees grow and begin producing dates insha'Allah.

After the 3 years when the trees are producing delicious dates, the farm will generate a regular source of income, which will be used to provide education, support widows and orphans, and maintenance of the farm, in sha Allah!
