Trek for Tech: Colour Run

On 30 April, the children will be doing their annual sponsored fun run. And this year, it’s going to be extra fun – think clouds of coloured powder as they run along the track! Will they trek through the clouds and raise a pot of gold for SPS?

Friends of Saltaire Primary School (FOSPS) is a charity led by parents and carers to support pupils' learning and wellbeing. We help the school and our children by raising money to fund additional resources, equipment and enriching experiences outside the school budget.

Story

Trek for Tech

Schools in the UK have faced unprecedented cuts in recent years, and we – as a school community – can help make a difference.

With your support, FOSPS can ensure all children have access to the technology they need to prepare them for the future.

FOSPS aims to fund small bids throughout the school year to provide added extras that the children would otherwise go without: things like new musical instruments and extra books for reading clubs.

Alongside these smaller fundraising aims, our wider, long-running targets are intended to fund major projects like the outdoor playground improvements.

This year we’re heading indoors, raising funds for new, much-needed digital equipment.

Our wider target for the year is £10,000. We managed it last year, and we can do it again – with your help.

Last year's Rainbow Run raised a whopping £3000. Let's do this!
