Story

Trek Sahara is a total of three days worth of trekking through the Moroccan desert, over sand dunes in the blazing sun. You will trek up to a 50km over the course of the trip, ending your hike with a two day community project in Marrakech.

Camping each night gives you a chance to experience the stunning stars in the night sky (weather permitting) and the traditional Berber cuisine cooked by the team is second to none.

This is an experience for everyone... We have people of all ages, genders and fitness levels sign up; we do recommend building up a decent level of fitness leading up to the trek. We will provide plenty of training material and advice. We have people signing up on their own, as a couple and in groups, everyone is part of one big team at the end of the day!

The fundraising team at the East Cheshire Hospice will be here to help and guide you every step of the way with your fundraising journey. The Hospice has to raise over 80% of its running costs from voluntary donation and fundraising, this equates to over £7,500 every single day. Your contribution really will make a difference.
