The TRIBE 10% Project:
The TRIBE community is bold, fearless and push their limits. We aim to empower everyone to test their limits as we raise funds to fight modern slavery. The TRIBE 10% project is our challenge to each other in 2019 to improve and push our boundaries.
The TRIBE 10% Project: TRIBE x Maverick Run Free is one of a series of 2019 challenges taking place throughout the year, across the UK and the world, to challenge the TRIBE community and help fight modern slavery.
On the 25th May 2019, over 500 TRIBE members will put their bodies under test, pushing their limits to cut their improve the trail marathon/half marathon time by 10%, all as part of our mission to fight Modern Slavery in the UK.
The 10% Project is our way of defying the injustice of Modern Slavery. Our absolute freedom to run, as a TRIBE, covering thousands of miles in training together, and pushing our boundaries to cut that 10% is a privilege as much as it is a challenge.
In 2019, TRIBE Freedom Foundation is supporting two of the most innovative and impactful frontline anti-slavery projects:
Ellas Home is an East-London safe-house providing rehabilitation, accommodation, and support for women exiting situations of trafficking and exploitation. In partnership with Luminary Bakery, they also offer training and employment opportunities, helping survivors to regain independence.
Snowdrop is a Sheffield-based charity and one of the first in the UK to provide long-term follow-on support for survivors. They work with clients on an individual basis to ensure their personal and complex needs are met.
