Indonesia suffered a devastating earthquake on 28th September, which triggered a tsunami. 20 foot waves wiped out homes, killing and injuring thousands. Over 1500 people have perished, and this number increases daily. Over 200,000 people are in desperate need of humanitarian aid. Tens of thousands have lost everything and are staying in over 200 sites, all desperately short on essential, life saving aid.
There is an urgent need for:
Food and clean drinking water
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
Medical aid and trauma support
Feminine hygiene kits and baby food
Tents, shelter, blankets, waterproof clothing and fuel
GRF have a team on the ground distributing these essentials to those in need, but we need your help to reach more people. The devastation has affected everyone, people have lost everything, they are left homeless, hungry & traumatized.
