Organised by TTPNetwork2024 saw the 100 year anniversary of Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura being defined by Eli Moskowitz (1879-1964). To celebrate this anniversary we are challenging our supporters to raise £100 each for TTPNetwork!
In 1924 Eli Moskowitz first defined TTP. In 2024 we are seeing amazing strides in research which has led to new therapies for treatment. Just 30 years ago TTP had a mortality rate of 80%. In 2024 that is nearer 20% and in England we have 9 specialist centres across 11 hospital sites which enable patients to get the very best expert care.
At TTPNetwork we support patients with their diagnosis. We also support their families and provide information for health care professionals.
