Story

The Tees Valley is home to a dynamic industrial landscape with opportunities for new businesses and skills development growing all the time. To meet the demand for skills stimulated by new government and corporate investment into the region, it is crucial to grow the pipeline of talent coming into the Tees Valley, particularly around engineering.

Women in engineering is an underrepresented group, and the University is launching this scholarship to attract more women to study an engineering related degree, with a view to creating a more diverse talent pipeline for current and future industries in the Tees Valley.

Any amount you can donate will contribute to more scholarship opportunities for women aspiring to succeed in engineering.
