Majlis e Ulema e Shia Europe (MUS) is extremely saddened to hear and the significant humanitarian crisis, as a result of the recent Earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

As Muslims, we are one body and if one part of the body suffers, the whole body can feel the pain. Many of our members have friends and family who have been directly impacted by this calamity. The MUS stands shoulder to shoulder with our Turkish and Syrian brothers, at this difficult time.

We would like extend our heartfelt condolences to all those who have suffered a personal loss. We pray that

Allah grants Maghfirat to those who have sadly lost their lives, and for the loved ones to have the patience and strength to bear this irreversible loss.

MUS is engaging with its members and collaborative partners to understand the ground situation and preparing to offer support within its humble capacity. We ask all our community to remain standby for any call for fundraising or humanitarian assistance campaigns.
