This year the Christmas Tree Appeal will be helping three charities.

"Embrace the Middle East Charity has over 160 years of experience working with the most vulnerable and marginalised communities in the Middle East. We work alongside Christian partners in the region to help them make a tangible difference to their communities. Our partners work in areas such as advocacy, education, health and community development projects, helping people of all faiths and none to free themselves from a life of poverty and injustice. We currently work with partners in Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, Israel and Palestine."

Midlothian Foodbank has been helping vulnerable families with food since 2013. Last year they handed out nearly 6000 three-day emergency food parcels. This helped families who were making the tough choice between food or fuel.

Tynewater Primary School provides education for young people in the greater Pathhead area. Over the years Tyne Valley Parish has been going in to the school taking the Good News about Jesus and this continues today.

Your donation today will make a diffrence to a family or a child, whose lives will be changed, possibly forever. God will be watching over them, Jesus will be beside them, and the Holy Spirit will be moving in ways we cannot even imagine.
