Cancer and other life changing diseases can strike at any time. That is not alarmist but a fact. However, we can all reduce the chance of being caught out unexpectedly by being pro-active. Although our main focus is in providing PSA testing events for men, our work, going forward, is to supplement this service with other tests and shared knowledge that might lead to early diagnosis of more cancers and diseases in both men and women. Cancer Testing South gives men a chance to take responsibility for their health. A simple, pain-free blood test produces a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) reading which may indicate the presence of prostate disease. We have a team of professional, fully insured nurses and phlebotomists who have vast experience and knowledge to give you peace of mind when undergoing our tests. All samples are taken in complete confidence and subsequently sent to a registered laboratory for analysis. Full details of the results will be sent to individuals within ten days.

Would you like to attend a fun event whilst helping to raise money for our worthwhile cause?

The Twilight Runway Challenge is the Community Matters Partnership Projects (CMPP) flagship fundraising event. It is a unique opportunity for the whole community to get together and raise funds for their favourite charity or for their school.

It is a fun, family event which takes place along the airstrip itself (once the flights have stopped landing)! Gates open from 4.00 pm with the Challenge starting at 5.30pm.

Run for fun or challenge yourself to complete it as quickly as you can. Not everyone chooses to run: some walk, cycle, skateboard, rollerblade or scoot - we have even had someone take part on a unicycle!

Challengers can enter the 3k or 5k routes or you can complete 10k by doing the 5k circuit twice. If you are planning to walk the course, you will only be able to enter the 3k or 5k.

All Challengers will receive a goodie bag including a finisher's medal.

If you want to participate, visit https://www.twilightchallenge.co.uk/event-details/ to join the event.
