Students' Union UCL - we're the place where more happens

Story

Hi all! UCL Jazz society is raising money for the charity Tomorrow's Warriors who has given us an awesome online talk. Due to current restrictions, we are doing this via an online challenge. The challenge is:

Play or sing the lick in the most creative way possible!

To participate, send us a submission of yourself performing at su-jazz.society@ucl.ac.uk, and be as creative (and safe) as you can! We would be very thankful if you could contribute a few pounds as you send in your video. If you're out of ideas, check out our updates to see Jamie's great interpretation.

A panel of judges will choose a winner, and there is a very cool prize for whoever does the best performance!

A bit about the charity:

Tomorrow's Warriors is a charity that increases diversity and accessibility for young musicians, many of them from disadvantaged background. They have shaped the London Jazz scene, injecting young talents and encouraging them to nurture their musical careers. We at UCL Jazz Society believe in diversity and inclusivity in the music industry, which is why we would like to raise money for Tomorrow's Warriors. Check out their webpage here: https://tomorrowswarriors.org/

All the best and looking forward to seeing your submissions. Stay safe and stay Jazzy!

Please note the money raised will NOT go towards the UCL Student's Union or spent on our travel expenses, all of your funds will proceed directly to Tomorrow's Warriors (Charity Number 1153613) via the UCL Student's Union.
