Story

“Only those who endure the climb can enjoy the view from the mountain top. Endure the tests of this life and enjoy the bounties of Jannah!”

Mount Snowdon “Yr Wyddfa” (as it is known locally in Welsh) is the highest peak in Wales and at 1085m/3560ft height, it’s a tough yet enjoyable climb to reach the summit, no matter the time of day or how many times you do it especially for a good cause.

The Challenge…

Climb Snowdon with TEAM UK ISLAMIC MISSION (UKIM) to support UKIM Community Services projects and experience the UK’s most popular mountain – and feel alive in the great outdoors! Together, we will develop a sense of wonder and intrigue about Yr Wyddfa as we ascend to the 1,085 metre high summit. Along the way, we will see beautiful yet dramatic views as we hike along the exciting mountainous paths – one of the reasons so many people love it.

It’s as much about the journey as it is standing on the summit; therefore, we have partnered with RAW Adventures, whose experienced guides will ensure you go home with a deeper understanding of the mountain, an appreciation of your wellbeing and a huge sense of achievement. Not only that, you will have also raised vital funds to support our vision
