The European Association for Cancer Research was founded to bring Europe's researchers together. We believe it's vital for cancer researchers to communicate, collaborate and work together internationally to help defeat cancer.

It's unimaginable to many of us that we might one day be forced to leave our homes and jobs and to abandon our lifesaving work, but our colleagues in Ukraine are now facing this unimaginable situation.

Donate to our JustGiving fundraising campaign for cancer researchers displaced from Ukraine. The funds raised will help us to provide short term placements in cancer research labs to researchers from Ukraine whose lives and work have been shattered by war.

This kind of short term placement could give a researcher from Ukraine time and safety in which to plan their next move or apply for other roles. Every cancer researcher has something vital to offer in the fight against cancer: let's not leave our Ukrainian colleagues behind.

All funds raised from this campaign will go directly to displaced researchers from Ukraine through our EACR-funded short term placements in cancer research labs. If we have surplus funds from the campaign that we're unable to use in this way, we will use them to fund similar placements for other researchers from Eastern Europe.
