How far could you go in 30 days for the children of Ukraine?

Right now, 10.7 million children in Ukraine are caught up in a terrifying, escalating crisis.

In the middle of a freezing winter, children are hiding in bomb shelters, fleeing their homes without knowing where they'll end up and leaving behind loved ones they might never see again.

Many children are struggling to make it out; desperate families are stranded at borders after travelling hundreds of miles. Food, water and the means to stay warm will soon disappear.

But War Child has been quick to respond. We're on the ground right now so we can be there for vulnerable children and their families when they need us most.

The children of Ukraine are facing an uncertain future. But with your help, they don't have to go it alone. Every mile you take on through our Peace Band challenge will mean we can reach even more children in Ukraine, as well as other children around the world living in war zones.

Even better, donations you raise through Peace Band from now until 31 May will be matched pound for pound by the UK government. This means your gift right now could go twice as far in supporting the unfolding crisis in Ukraine, as well as in places like Afghanistan.

Match funding from the UK government will go towards Yemen, where millions of children are still in desperate need of protection from war and conflict.
