As the largest NGO in the world Lions Clubs International operate worldwide wherever there is a local Lions Club.
Support is offered by the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) who only ever make funds available to Lions clubs in the country concerned or Lions clubs in neighbouring countries who are assisting. They make no decution from the amount that the donor club has given.
This is the case in Ukraine where Moldova, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania are helping fleeing women and children to seek sanctuary.
