Story
The war in Ukraine is not over—and its children are still suffering. Many are attending school under the constant threat of violence, often without the emotional or psychological support they desperately need. In the Kharkiv region alone, thousands of children are trying to learn, grow, and stay hopeful while coping with trauma that no child should endure.
IAHV’s resilience and trauma relief programs span across Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions and provide these children with essential mental health support and emotional tools to rebuild their lives. With a team of experienced instructors—and 5 newly trained ones joining the effort—we’re reaching children in frontline communities who would otherwise be left behind.
But we urgently need your help to continue this meaningful work.
Our Goal: Raise another £6,500
To sustain and expand IAHV’s trauma relief programs for approximately 3,400 children across 5–6 schools in Kharkiv.
What Your Support Enables:
• Continued delivery of trauma relief and resilience-building programs
• Training and support for more instructors on the ground
• Emotional recovery resources for children impacted by war
IAHV’s local volunteers are working under difficult and dangerous conditions to deliver these services directly in affected areas. Your donation ensures they can keep going, reaching the children who need it most—now, when they need it most.
Donate today to help us reach £6,500 and provide urgent support to Ukraine’s youngest survivors. Together, we can bring them hope, healing, and a chance at a brighter future.
IAHV’s Ukraine programs adapt to the evolving situation based on on-the-ground needs and assessments. IAHV reserves the right to use the funds or surplus for another disaster relief initiative in Ukraine or for the Ukrainian displaced communities
