One of our clients is an elderly widow from Ukraine. She has major health issues and is dependent on her U.S. daughter (who is also low income), SSI benefits, and a homecare aide. We are awaiting her approval for reparole, at which time she will be expected to pay the $1,000 fee. That is on top of the $275 she already paid to successfully submit the application. Donations from this campaign will go to help her and others who are unable to pay to renew their legal status.
