Story

Welcome to our Christmas Jumper Day!

Whether it’s at work, school or with friends and family, we’d love for you to join us in our mission to save lives from sepsis by holding your very own Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 12th December 2024. 🎄 If Thursday the 12th doesn’t work for you, feel free to pick a date that suits your group best!

The idea is simple:

🎅 Create your JustGiving page by clicking the orange ‘Start Fundraising’ button on this page.

🎅 Everyone donates to take part! Why not set your team target to £105, as this helps us support one person through their sepsis recovery journey?

🎅 Wear your Christmas jumpers on Thursday 12th December (or your chosen date).

🎅 Pay in your donations and make a real difference.

Sepsis affects 245,000 people each year in the UK, and UKST is dedicated to raising awareness to ensure more lives are saved, and improving the lives of sepsis survivors.

By holding a Christmas Jumper Day, you’ll be directly helping to fund life-saving work, awareness campaigns, and vital support services for those affected by sepsis.

Thank you for your support - we hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
