Dear friends,

The Abrahamic Reunion, founded originally in Israel and the USA in 2004, is a team of peacemakers dedicated to uplifting human consciousness and building peace between religious communities. This campaign is to raise funds for the work we are doing as Abrahamic Reunion England. For three years we have been working with our peacemakers to develop interfaith programmes in this country. In light of the increasing danger of religious extremism in our society, we have begun to place special emphasis on our presentations and workshops in prisons, where it is often the first time that many of the prisoners have met a religious leader of a faith other than their own who is able to give peaceful interpretations of the religious teachings. The response has always been heartening and enlightening.

For three years we have been developing peace making programmes in British prisons and training people in the work of peace making. We are now ready to go to the next level: to train the next generation of peacemakers in this work and we need your help.

The money raised will be used to fund a series of events that will enable us to establish a regular interfaith programme in prisons and train the next generation of peacemakers to prevent radicalisation. Our vision is to promote tolerance in prisons and ultimately in our communities, based on unifying hearts and minds through exploration of our common values, whatever our backgrounds.

Your contribution will directly fund these efforts and your participation will bring you the blessing and satisfaction of spreading light and world peace. Our role is to encourage and inspire those vulnerable members of our society to leave divisiveness and be part of a common goal of unity.

Specifically your money will be used to:

1. Arrange a week of training for volunteer peace builders who will be working in the prison programme. The training will be conducted by senior members of the Abrahamic Reunion, including some from outside the UK.

2. The production of three public events to build awareness of activities in the UK and the Israel/Palestine. Revenue will be used to fund speakers, venues and promotion.

3. A session held at one of the target prisons to continue to develop the pilot programme.

4. The design of an on-going programme for prisons.

A full accounting of all expenditures will be provided to all donors who request it.
