Organised by Round Chapel Old School RoomsCampaigning to raise funds to support the weekly Urban Table soup kitchen at the Round Chapel, Old School Rooms CPURC. Every Sunday approximately 60 people who need some food or a sympathetic ear come to find some solidarity.

Urban Table is a community project in Hackney, East London, which happens every Sunday at the Round Chapel, Old School Rooms CPURC.
Each week volunteers cook and host a sit down freshly cooked meal for people in need, we feed anyone who comes, with home-made cakes, fresh produce donations from local businesses, as well as offering a pop up clothes bank and friendly chats!
Volunteers arrive by 12.15pm and chop vegetables, prepare food, cut up fruit and cake and make tea and coffee. We serve the guests from 1.30pm until 3.00pm, sit with them, and clear up at the end, finishing around 4pm. The teams are lively and dedicated and the work is very rewarding.
We fund Urban Table through donations, both financial and food based as well as by organising fundraising events throughout the year.
The money you donate will help us to buy ingredients so that we can carry on cooking and offering hospitality. Anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated!
