On Saturday 22nd August 2026, the Urban Uprising community will come together to take on Ben Nevis and raise funds to support disadvantaged young people through climbing and adventure.

Participants will be choosing their own challenge:

- Mountain Path

- CMD Arete

- Or advanced North Face routes for experienced mountaineers

This is a community-led challenge, with participants organising their own travel, accommodation, route choice, and safety decisions.

Why We’re Doing It

At Urban Uprising, we support disadvantaged young people aged 8–18 to build confidence, resilience, wellbeing, and positive futures through climbing and outdoor experiences.

Working with climbing centres and volunteer role models, we help young people overcome barriers and access opportunities they may never otherwise experience.
