We are one of the UK’s largest rabbit sanctuaries, we care for medically complex, disabled, behavioural and palliative care rabbits at a large capacity. Unfortunately, this means we face incredibly high vet bills and sometimes we fall on very hard financial stress and we need extra support. This is one of those times 😓 our vet account currently stands at £10,000 and we are trying really hard to reduce this as soon as we can. Owing money is never nice, but this does happen time to time considering the nature of what we do. No bunny is ever left untreated for medical conditions and sometimes just one rabbit can cost thousands of pounds in vet care. Lately, many of our long term residents have needed extensive care and life supporting treatment which has led to our current financial difficulties. We don’t receive funding from any other source bar what you help us achieve via donations.
