Story

Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke are appealing for your support to help them purchase a vein finder to improve the care of their patients by reducing the amount of attempts needed to cannulate, this makes the experience far less traumatising for them. They would love for you to help their cause by donating, no matter how small every penny counts, or why not join them at the Poters Arf and start your own fundraising event and set up a page for yourself using the start fundraising tab to the right!

The team at the children's hospital are really getting involved and would love it if you did to!

Mark Jones Directorate Manager say " We are excited and have planned to have runners and walkers in this years Potters Arf 2024, to help raise the money needed to be able to purchase the vein finder, over twenty members of the team at Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke are going to participate this September to raise funds our Charitable Funds. From medics, nursing, administration, and management we will all be coming together to raise money for a vital piece of equipment that will improve the experiences of children we care for during invasive procedures. Charitable donations help us make children and families stays in hospital more enjoyable and we could not do the wonderful things we do without the generosity of our supporters."
