Six Year 10 students from Venture Academy in Henley-in-Arden are aiming to raise £1000 to purchase new outdoor equipment at their school, such as; goal posts, balls, outdoor games and a climbing frame for the whole school to benefit from.

Aspart of the Princes Trust Achieve programme our students must complete a fundraiser to demonstrate team work, resilience and test physical ability and mental strength. The students are preparing themselves to row twenty-six miles, which is the distance from Dover to Calais, the width of the English Channel.

On Friday 31st March, the group of six boys will be rowing in a tag -team for ten to fifteen minute intervals until they have reached the total distance.
