Vets bill 2026 fundraiser

💙 We need your help to keep going 💙 In 2025 alone, we spent approximately £85,000 on veterinary bills. Our aim is to raise £1000 per month throughout the whole of 2026 to help just a little towards these necessary costs.

Established in the 1960s, the SAA takes in unwanted and abandoned cats and rabbits. All the animals are micro-chipped, neutered and vaccinated, and the SAA never puts a healthy animal down. The animals are given food, shelter and veterinary care, until loving new homes are found.

Story

💙 We need your help to keep going 💙

Caring for animals doesn’t stop when things get hard — but the reality is, it does come at a cost.

In 2025 alone, we spent approximately £85,000 on veterinary bills. That figure represents emergency treatments, ongoing care, life-saving procedures, and second chances for animals who had nowhere else to turn.

Every animal rehomed through us is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, giving them the healthiest and safest possible start in their new home.

We never turn away an animal in need — but to continue the work we do, we can’t do it alone.

Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly towards vet care and helps us:

🐾 Provide urgent medical treatment

🐾 Manage long-term conditions

🐾 Ensure every animal is neutered, vaccinated, and chipped before rehoming

If you’re able to donate or share this page, you’re helping us keep doors open and paws cared for. Your support truly makes the difference between hope and heartbreak.

Thank you for standing with us and believing in the work we do 💙
