Longfield Community Hospice provide free care and support to hundreds of adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families each year. All services are provided free-of-charge but to be able to do this, we rely on voluntary donations and income from our retail shops. With the outbreak of Covid-19 all of our charity shops had to close for several months and all face-to-face fundraising has been cancelled, so we have had to call upon our community to help and support the hospice in whatever way possible. We hope the Virtual Grand Canyon Challenge will help replace some of the lost income from our usual Longfield Walk, which has had to be cancelled this Summer. The challenge will be a great way to keep fit with family, friend and colleagues and you can even build in some competitive spirit and race them to the line! All donations and support are greatly appreciated.
