Walk for your planet and raise crucial funds to demand urgent action on the climate emergency. Can you make it to 10km? Or walk 10k steps a day? Challenge yourself and make difference.
Much like the climate emergency, the pandemic has affected the most vulnerable both at home and abroad. Our climate campaign team is working tirelessly to make sure the government adopts a recovery plan which both fixes our broken economy and prioritises people and planet.
Like you, we know a better future is possible. Help support this crucial campaign by setting up a fundraiser today.
1. Set up your fundraising page on JustGiving, it's really quick and easy. Try and raise at least £150.
2. Share your goal. Tell your friends and family what you're going to do. Can you make it to 10km? Or walk 10,000 steps a day? See how far you can get while raising crucial funds for your planet.
3. Track your distance using your phone or other device, with an app like Strava. Strava can be easily linked to your JustGiving page so your sponsors can track you as you reach your goal.
4. Remember to keep yourself and others safe during the coronavirus pandemic. Ensure you follow the rules where you are and always maintain social distancing.
Friends of the Earth has a great track record when it comes to environmental wins.
The financial future is uncertain and we need your support more than ever. With your help we'll demand that post-coronavirus recovery plans tackle the climate emergency.
