Story
Join us for our annual Walk with Lancashire Women event on Sunday 15th September! This year’s theme is “Walk for Wellbeing” in which we want to shout about the power of movement and socialising for our mental health.
Our scenic route will take us from the calm shores of Cleveleys to the iconic Comedy Carpet on Blackpool promenade and back again. The walk will allow you to soak in the views while getting to meet like-minded people. Whether you’re walking solo, with friends, or alongside work colleagues, every step you take will make a difference in the lives of the women our charity support.

Why support Lancashire Women?
Lancashire Women support around 5000 individuals each year across Lancashire, by offering a safe space for women to seek support and access a wide range of FREE services, including Mental Health & Wellbeing, Employment Support, Money, Debt & Energy Advice, and Justice & Safety.
Women disproportionately experience inequality and disadvantage because of gender and for that reason LW exists to enable them to have choices for their lives and to feel they can take their place in society.
There is someone who needs you today, and your donation can change her life.
£5 would pay towards resources for our Peer Support groups.
£12 would help to train a volunteer Befriender to support women waiting for therapy.
£24 would pay for a woman to have a session with a counsellor.
£50 would help pay for a woman to attend our CPD accredited suicide awareness course.
