Story
Dear friends and family,
We will be walking 50 miles to raise money for the Syrian refugees in Mansfield who are supported by Maun Refuge, a charity organisation. There are eight Syrian refugee families. Thirty five individuals: seventeen adults, eight teenagers and ten children under the age of 10. Due to COVID-19 the world continues to largely operate online, these families require improved devices such as PCs, laptops, internet connections, printers, software, etc. This would enable children to download applications which are vital for their studies and also their parents would be reconnected to the world of education, be able to access important training and employability courses or attend careers meetings with expert coaches. Maun refuge have identified that the cost of this will be about £10,400. Would you please help us kindly and generously to raise this amount? Any money that is donated will be fully spent on the refugee families.
If you have any devices, such as laptops and tablets, which might support families to access education and employment which you would be willing to donate please contact Parvin or Parvaneh.
To support Maun Refuge's great work and our fundraising efforts please could you forward this campaign to friends and family.
Kind Regards, Parvin & Parvaneh
