We raise funds for charities nominated by colleagues who work for Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management UK. We aim to support charities every two years and try to help support smaller charities that would benefit from our fundraising.

Story

This June, colleagues across our UK offices are taking on a powerful challenge: walking a combined 100 miles to raise £100,000 for three incredible charities — ReStart Lives, Doherty Destiny, and Digswell Place.

From London (26 miles) and Blackpool (15 miles) to Worcester (13 miles), Edinburgh/Glasgow (13 miles), Guildford (10 miles), Cambridge (10 miles), Norwich (5 miles), Birmingham (5 miles), and Newcastle (3 miles) — every one of our offices is lacing up and stepping out. Each team is contributing their miles as part of our shared goal, proving that when we come together, we can achieve something truly meaningful.

These charities are close to our hearts, supporting people experiencing homelessness, disadvantaged young people, and those with disabilities. Their work changes lives — and this is our chance to help them go even further.

Last year, thanks to our colleagues amazing generosity (and a £15,000 match from our company), we raised £51,000. That means we’re already over halfway to our goal!

This year, we’re going further — literally and figuratively. 100 miles is no small feat, but with your support, we know we can do it.

Please donate, cheer us on, and help us reach our £100,000 goal. Every step we take is a step toward changing lives.
