Members of Celtic Supporters' Clubs in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Boston (and a few from further afield) have organised an 18-mile sponsored walk in NYC to raise vital funds for Celtic FC Foundation and local charity, Coalition for the Homeless.
WALK ON New York takes place on Saturday, June 1, 2019 and the route includes:
* Starting point - The Whistlin' Donkey, home of the Bronx Bhoys CSC
* Stop 1 - Inwood Hill Park
* Stop 2 - The Parlour Bar, home of the New York CSC
* Stop 3 - Times Square - for a HUDDLE
* Stop 4 - Jack Demsey's, home of the Manhattan No1 CSC
* End Point - The Irish Hunger Memorial at Battery Park
Celtic Football Club was formed in 1887 to feed the poor in the East End of Glasgow. To this day, supporters are rightly proud of the Club's charitable roots and continue to work tirelessly to honour this unique and compelling history.
Your support of their wonderful efforts through WALK ON New York will help those experiencing or facing homelessness in NYC through Coalition for the Homeless and also a host of disadvantaged children, young people and adults in Scotland, Ireland, England and Africa through the work of Celtic FC Foundation.
Thank you for making a difference.
