Participants will walk a step for every mile to the moon. Its 238855 miles to the moon and, if someone walks this number of steps in one month, thats 7961 a day - which is roughly the same steps as a Cransley Hospice nurse does on an average shift. If they do this twice between the 1st April, and the 31st May, they could reach the moon and back.
