Story
Set up in 2014, Warmley Wheelers provides cycling opportunities for people with health conditions and supported needs. We offer specialist equipment and a safe, friendly environment to support people who would normally find it difficult to ride a bike. Our site is based just off the Bristol to Bath railway path next to Warmley Waiting Room Café, so cyclists may make use of the public cycle path or our own woodland trails.
For people with disabilities who live locally, Warmley Wheelers is really important. It can help to make them feel independent and give them that same level of joy that I get on a bicycle.
The project exists because of external grants, private donations and fundraisers. We are so grateful for the support that we receive from the community year on year - without it, we would not be able to continue our work.
