Story

We are organising this sponsored walk to raise money for Street Reach Winchester. The walk will take place on Sunday 1st June, starting at 10am at The King Charles Pub, 6 Lovedon Lane, Kings Worthy, Winchester SO23 7NU. Please note, this is our sponsorship page for donations and sponsors. To participate in the walk you can book tickets here.

Route

This is a 14k circular sponsored walk along part of the Watercress Way via Itchen Abbas, through beautiful Hampshire countryside. This year there is a 7k option finishing at The Plough, Itchen Abbas, SO21 1BQ. Please organise your own transport from The Plough if walking the 7k route.

Prior to the walk

We will be sending out some further advice and details approximately two weeks before the walk, but in the meantime if you have any queries please get in touch: fundraising@winchester-rotary.org

The walk starts with registration at the King Charles Public House in Kings Worthy at 10:00am.

From 10:00 to 10:30am there will be an opportunity to buy coffee & croissants from the bar.

At the end of the walk

You're welcome to pre-order burger, scampi or curry for the special price of £12 per person. Once you have booked for the event, you will receive a confirmation email which explains how to make your pre-order. You will pay the pub upon your return, when you confirm your pre-order with them and order any drinks that you want.

If you're finishing at the Plough in Itchen Abbas, and have booked food at the King Charles, please organise your own transport back to the start.
