We believe the most effective way to help Africa is to teach, train and transform through providing solid, accessible education for children. By training farmers how to maximise their land to ensure food security and self-sufficiency and to provide access to fresh water to drink, to irrigate crops, and water animals and to provide a healthy environment through sanitation and hygiene.
WayMaker believes that the long-term solution to the challenges Africa faces is improving education . Currently, WayMaker is working with DaySpring Academy to build a self-sustaining Secondary school following the success of the Pre & Primary school built together with WayMaker Founder, Andy Robinson.
Food security is a massive issue in Africa and is becoming worse as a result of climate change. WayMaker is committed to training local farmers with different techniques as a way of improving agricultural yields.
Water, Sanitation and Health/Hygiene (WaSH) is a key issue in Africa and is linked with Food Security. WayMaker is committed to partnering with rural community leaders to provide clean, fresh and free water by drilling community boreholes.
