Story

If you would like to donate to charity in Worcestershire instead of laying flowers in remembrance of Queen Elizabeth II, you can make a gift to a special commemorative fund which has been set up to support local community groups. Funds raised will go to support local projects where there is most need.

The Queen's Commemoration Fund has been set up on the recommendation of HM Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Lt Col Patrick Holcroft CVO OBE who wishes gifts to be made to the Worcestershire Community Foundation, a charitable hub dedicated to helping to ensure that Worcestershire is a better place.

Worcestershire Community Foundation is part of a network of 47 national place-based Community Foundations which together are the UK's fourth largest funder, providing invaluable support to communities all over the UK by raising and giving out substantial funds every year.

Worcestershire Community Foundation is an independent charity which strengthens local communities by providing funding for charities and community-led work throughout Worcestershire. To find out more, please go to www.worcscf.org.uk
