Help Equip Our Volunteers with Essential Search & Rescue Vests

West Cumbria Search is a voluntary Search & Rescue team made up entirely of dedicated volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work alongside the police to help locate vulnerable missing people across Cumbria and, when requested, further afield.

We’re raising £1,200 to provide every operational volunteer with a new high-visibility orange tactical vest. These vests are far more than just PPE—they allow our team to safely carry essential search equipment, such as radios, first aid supplies, torches, and navigation tools, directly on the vest. This reduces the need for backpacks, improves mobility, and ensures vital equipment is always within easy reach during a search.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us better equip our volunteers so they can continue responding quickly and effectively when people need us most.
