Story

Walk for Survivors: Join Us for the Wirral Coastal Walk

A Step Towards Healing and Hope

The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) has been a lifeline for survivors of sexual violence across Cheshire and Merseyside for over 30 years. Through our counselling, advocacy, and specialist services, we help survivors reclaim their lives, providing the support they need to heal and move forward.

This year, we’re asking for your support by taking part in the Wirral Coastal Walk on Sunday, July 6th. Whether you walk 20 km (12.5 miles) or opt for one of the shorter routes, every step you take will raise vital funds for RASASC and help us continue our work with survivors.

Why We Need Your Help

Every year, more survivors turn to RASASC for support and demand is growing. By joining the Wirral Coastal Walk, you're helping us provide free counselling, advocacy, and specialist services to those affected by sexual violence.

Last year, our advocacy service alone cost over £400,000. We offer these vital services free of charge — but we can't do it alone.

Please support us so no survivor is left without help.

"During the darkest times leading up to the trial, I was having flashbacks and extreme panic attacks. My ISVA helped me by giving me coping strategies. In trial, my ISVA was able to stand in court with me for support and honestly, having them there really helped me get through it when I didn’t think I could carry on."
