Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2025 · 1 June 2025 ·
Closes 30/09/2025
Join Team WDC Scotland for a Wee Wander or Mighty Stride in the city of Aberdeen; just 60 miles southeast of the WDC Scottish Dolphin Centre, at the mouth of the River Spey.
WDC Scotland is a passionate group of people who have been working for over 25 years to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises living in Scottish seas. We inspire and mobilise community volunteers, school children, fishers and politicians to work together to reduce the threats that whales and dolphins are facing
The seas around Scotland are home to an amazing diversity of wildlife. But species and habitats are struggling where once they flourished. Coastal communities remember when fish were plentiful and whales and dolphins were abundant before destructive fishing methods, pollution, oil and gas exploration and drilling, underwater noise and historical whaling devastated the ocean environment and whale and dolphin populations. We need to restore Scottish seas, help them recover and fill once again with life.
By taking part in the 2025 Aberdeen Kiltwalk or sponsoring our fabulous group of walkers, you are helping us to campaign for safer seas, inform policy makers and grow a powerful movement of people who care for the protection of whales and dolphins.
With WDC's Scottish Dolphin Centre situated around 62 miles northwest of Aberdeen, we would be delighted to welcome you to the centre across The Kiltwalk weekend to learn more about our work and, if you're lucky, a chance to see the amazing bottlenose dolphins of the Moray Firth. What's more, some of our team will be taking on The Mighty Stride and would love to meet you along the way!
