Story

One of the UK's most popular annual fundraisers is back for 2023 - Wear A Hat Day takes place on Friday 31st March. Join in, look super for science and help research breakthroughs happen.

Going from strength to strength for over a decade, it is incredible that over this time Wear A Hat Day events have raised millions of pounds to help fund vital research and raise powerful awareness of brain tumours.

Sign up today and help us make Wear A Hat Day 2023 a record-breaking success!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this.

We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Get involved in Wear A Hat Day at school, at work or in your community, and help us get closer to our vision of finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.
