This June, we celebrate Pride Month, a time to honor and support LGBTIQA+ communities globally. This year, we are committed to raising funds to assist LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers in the UK who are facing homelessness or hostile living conditions. Join us in kicking off Pride Month by contributing to this fund and supporting our community members.

OPAL is an organisation that offers a secure and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals who are seeking asylum and refugees in the UK. We are committed to assisting people who have been forced to leave their home countries due to persecution based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. We aim to offer a safe and welcoming space where individuals can find support and resources while seeking asylum and rebuilding their lives in the UK.

The fundraising goal will fulfil the need to participate in Pride Events. Any amount you can contribute will make a difference! If you cannot donate now, you can still support this campaign by sharing it with your friends and family, volunteering to help organise, and celebrating with us this Pride Month!

Our community members should feel celebrated, empowered, and welcomed publicly. This year's Pride is all about QUEER JOY! Reflect, Empower, Unite. It will strengthen community relationships and boldly celebrate our community and neighbourhood diversity. As always, allies, comrades, and co-conspirators are welcome to celebrate alongside us.
