I have recently been appointed as the new Welcare Family Centre Manager in Redhill and I would like to celebrate this by running a sponsored half marathon to raise money for the children and families that Welcare support.

The cost of living has risen so much and there are numerous children and families at crisis point because of this. Childrens mental health has been significantly impacted and the need to help families through this time and hold the hope for them is ever escalating.

I have always had a heart for working in family support and with over 17 years experience in this sector, I would like to go the extra mile (quite literally) to try to make a difference to the lives of the precious children and families that Welcare are currently supporting and those that will need help in the future.

However, this is not just any half-marathon, I will be running the very famous Behobia-San Sebastián race in North Spain on 13 November 2022.
