We were contacted by our friends at Brighter Futures for Children Care Leavers Team https://brighterfuturesforchildren.org and asked to provide a special gift for new mums in their care. We came up with the idea of gifting these young mums to be with a beautiful hamper filled with lovely new baby essentials and we would love the community to get behind this campaign and help us make a real difference to these young people.

Care leavers can be very much on their own, with little family support and no-one to turn to other than the leaving care team. Growing up in care can be hard, as you miss out on many things, so when a care leaver becomes pregnant, it can be a very daunting time. The gift of a 'Welcome to the World Hamper' with beautiful and essential items which every new mum should have, will be a way of making them feel valued, and help prepare for and celebrate the birth of their child.
