Visit the charity's profileJoin us in supporting the Welcome Wizards football team by helping us raise funds for much-needed replacement kits! These kits will provide our players with a sense of pride, unity and a big boost in confidence. Every donation, big or small, will make a huge difference in equipping our team with the gear they need to stay in the game. Let’s come together to support the Wizards and help them shine on and off the field!
In 2015, the Welcome Wizards formed through a football activity offered by The Welcome Project and Community Connections, a mental and emotional wellbeing service in Surrey which is provided by the charity Catalyst Support.
The team became a vital support system for adults facing challenges like isolation, anxiety, and depression. Based in Camberley, the Wizards draw players from across the borough, using football as a way to foster connection and healing. Together, they’ve proven that sport can offer not just support, but lasting positive change.
