Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist care for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones. All of our care is provided for free, and we need to raise £26,000 every day to continue providing all of our services. This includes care at home from Weldmar Community Nurses and Weldmar at Home, our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester, counselling and bereavement support, social workers, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and so much more. These amazing people are taking on a challenging trek over the spectacular Andean peaks, through epic Peruvian landscapes and misty cloud forest. They will start their adventure in the Colonial town of Cusco with an acclimatisation trek to the Inca ruins of Tambomachay. After two-days of acclimatising and sightseeing, they will begin their hike towards Machu Picchu along the Salkantay trail. All to support Weldmar Hospicecare - thank you for supporting them!
